Negative Capability: A Consultation & Reading Group for Clinicians

A small, twice-monthly consultation and reading group for therapists and clinicians who want a place to think together without pressure to perform expertise, resolve quickly, or arrive at consensus. This group is for people drawn into curiosity, reflection, and the capacity to stay with uncertainty in clinical, institutional, and professional life.

We will combine shared readings with open consultation around clinical, ethical, and professional questions. We’ll attend to patterns, symbols, relational dynamics, and the emotional field of the work rather than techniques or protocols. Readings will be brief and offered as companions for thinking, with ample time for clinical case discussion and professional companionship.

Readings may include work by contemporary philosophers, psychoanalysts, and cultural theorists such as Amia Srinivasan, Adam Phillips, Deborah Britzman, Byung-Chul Han, Winnicott, Bion, Avgi Saketopoulou, Sarah Schulman, Lauren Berlant, and others.
